 Summary: Tom Sawyer is a guy living in northeast Missouri. He is an orphan who stays with his aunt. He always gets into trouble. Another interesting thing is that Tom wants to Becky Thatcher, a new girl. One night he goes to a cemetery with Huckleberry Finn, the son of a drunk like alcohol more than he loves his son. In the cemetery are suddenly murders another man Injun Joe. Injun Joe tells people that his friend Muff Potter killed the man, so will Muff cage. Tom and Huck are afraid to tell anyone they saw. Tom, Huck and a friend go to an island in the river to live as pirates. They soon discover that people in town think she drowned in the river. Tom and the boys go to their own oral ceremonial funeral, and people are happy and excited to see them alive. In school Tom says he himself tore a book that really was torn by Becky Thatcher. This saves her from a beating. She starts to like him again. When Muff Potter case is heard in court, Tom has value testify against Injun Joe escapes. Tom and Huck seek the treasure in a haunted house by gost. There are Injun Joe and another man come out when they suspect someone knows they are there. Huck tries to follow Injun Joe and his partner. One day Tom goes on a school picnic to a cave with Becky. Meanwhile Huck overhears Injun Joe and his partner planning to attack a friendly older woman in the city called the Widow Douglas. He gets help and this saves her life from her. Tom and Becky Thatcher suddenly become lost in the cave. While there see Injun Joe. Tom finally discovers how to leave the cave. Becky's father, Judge Thatcher, ordered that the cave was closed which means that Injun Joe die there without food and water. Tom and Huck later enter the cave and found the gold treasure hidden by Injun Joe. Tom is the hero of the people. Widow Douglas decides to adopt Huck whose drunken father does not care for him.
